Dyslexia correction using the Davis® method

Dyslexia Mastery Program

Your child is smart. He asks questions that adults don't immediately find answers to. He sees things that others don't see. And then he sits down at a book - and the letters fall apart, the text moves, yesterday's word is foreign today. The school diagnoses him as "lazy." You know that's not true.

Dyslexia Issues

The child sees letters differently than you do.

She thinks in images - she turns them over in her head, sees the object from all sides at once. This is a gift for life: imagination, ingenuity, unconventional solutions. The same mechanism fails with letters, because the symbols have no volume, and the brain still tries to "wrap" them. Hence the permutations, omissions, moving text.

Davis's method works not with errors, but with their cause - and returns control over one's own perception to the child.

Reading difficulties

Words "float", lines get confused, and mechanical reading does not bring understanding of the content.

Attention deficit

Rapid fatigue from intellectual exertion and inability to concentrate.

Dysgraphia

Specific writing errors, "dirty" notebooks, and difficulty formulating thoughts.

What will you see?

Older children and adults come out of the program with a different way of reading—faster, calmer, and pain-free. Many are reading for pleasure for the first time in their lives.

For young children, progress resembles the unfolding of a flower: imperceptibly at first, then a new petal every day.

But speed isn’t even the most important thing.

The child stops thinking of himself as stupid. And that changes everything.

Now I don't think I'm stupid - I have a remote control for my brain!

Video review

Focus, reading, and school readiness.

“Dyslexia, constant distraction, inability to hold task context in mind. The main fear was not getting into a good school in London.

After the course, we applied to 5 different schools. She passed the first stage — the exam — everywhere.
She was invited to interviews at all of them.”

Video review

Writing suddenly stopped being pure chaos.

“Gosha used to write everything as a single block of text: no spaces, no capital letters, no punctuation. A previous specialist said there would be no results without Ritalin.

But it turned out that without any Ritalin, after the first program, spaces, capital letters, and punctuation appeared. He started reading — it was a real shock.”
