I am Tamara PRIMA

I work with people whose intelligence isn't always recognized because of the way they perceive the world.

I hold three academic degrees and am a licensed Davis® Facilitator.

But degrees don't explain what I really do.

I work with children and adults whom the conventional system failed to truly see. Those who were told, "It's Ritalin or nothing." Those whose families had almost given up hope that anything could help.

Untangling complex cases is what drives me. It's simply who I am—I don't stop until I find the answer.

This is also partly my own story — one that began at a time when this problem was barely even spoken about.
And then it repeated itself with my daughter.

We are adults with ADHD. I know from the inside what it feels like to be the smartest child in the class, but unable to pull yourself together. When your mind is filled with ideas that keep dancing through your head day and night, and you lose track of time. When you’ve read half a thick book, but can’t remember the names of the main characters.

In an attempt to organize my life, I tried everything.

The Davis Method was the first thing that truly worked. Because it uses very simple, almost minimalist tools — nothing unnecessary.
I have been using it every day for almost ten years.

The Davis Dyslexia Association International is the only organization in the world that certifies specialists in the Ronald Davis method.

Not weekend courses. Not “based on” versions. Not an “Instagram breakthrough business.”

A full 500-hour training program, coursework, supervised practice, and annual recertification.

How I Got Here

First, I worked as a speech therapist at a special education school, then I started my own private practice.

In 2014, I opened my own center in Kyiv and named it Primavera.

Primavera means “spring” in Spanish. But in the language of my heart, it means awakening after winter, after stagnation. It is thawing and blooming. It is something quietly resting beneath the soil until the right moment comes—and a person appears on the horizon with a watering can, ready to nourish what was unseen.

Romantic? Absolutely. Yes, I am a romantic and an aesthete. I love seeing everything around me awaken and come to life.

Two years later, the first professional sensory space in Ukraine was opened at the center.

The people who find me are those who have already been through the whole cycle.

Speech therapists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, tutors. Years of effort. Zero change.

Parents come to me who no longer believe anyone can help. And I understand them—they have every right to be skeptical.

That is why I don't make promises. I show results.

Origins, not interpreters.

I like to learn from the original sources.

Building my toolkit required traveling and flying around the world — Israel, the USA, Estonia. I studied behavioral approaches and PECS directly from their creators.

2016 — The Davis Method

For the first time in Ukraine, children received support through the Davis Method at Primavera.

Licensed specialists traveled from abroad to provide the programs while I was studying and working toward obtaining my own license.

Then — the world

Then came the war. Germany. Starting from zero.

But my people did not disappear. They simply spread across the world — San Diego, Toronto, Vienna, London.

Some fly to see me, some come by, and with others I work online. Because they need results, not the process.

So do I.

Because they don't need the process. They need results.

So do I.

I had this strange feeling that something was wrong with me—something that kept me from fully processing written information. I constantly blamed myself and felt frustrated because of it. I suspected I had dyslexia, but I had no idea what to do about it.

After completing the program, I realized that, while reading, my mind would "turn inward" because of certain triggers. During the program, we identified some of them, and I learned to recognize them so I could work with them.

I also learned how to enter a state of orientation almost instantly. It's one of the most valuable skills I gained—and it helps in far more than just reading.

It's still hard to believe something so effective can be so simple. In a way, it's almost funny to realize.

Deep inside, I feel like I've finally stepped outside a building I'd been living in my entire conscious life. Now I have the tools to walk out of it whenever I choose—and head in any direction I want.
